Officials from South Korea and the DPRK have met once again, to discuss Pyongyang's participation at next month's Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. The meeting was held on the South side of the shared border village of Panmunjom. And it has been the third inter-Korea meeting in the past 10 days. On January the 9th, the two countries had their first formal meeting in more than two years.
A series of proposals were made, including the possibility of temporarily lifting sanctions on the DPRK, to allow its atheltes to take part in the Olympics. On January the 15th, the two countries met again in Panmunjom. Seoul agreed to Pyongyang's proposal of sending its iconic Moranbong Band to perform in South Korea during the games.
