Let's turn to the US state of Pennsylvania, where residents of Punxsutawney are bracing themselves for more cold weather as its famous groundhog has predicted six more weeks of winter. Thousands of faithful followers from as far as Australia and Russia gathered at the Gobblers Knob park where a groundhog named Phil made his yearly prediction.
According to legend, if the rodent emerges from his dwelling and sees his shadow, six more weeks of winter will be expected. But if he doesn't see his shadow, spring is right around the corner. This year is the 132nd ceremony -- a tradition that began in 1887.
