Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has held talks with his Australian counterpart, Julie Bishop.They were meeting for the fourth China-Australia Foreign and Strategic Dialogue. Wang Yi said bilateral relations are on a healthy and stable track, and have progressed well since the implementation of a free trade agreement. He said this year is the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the bilateral ties, and the two countries should further promote their comprehensive partnership. Bishop said Australia views the meeting as a chance to discuss issues which affect both countries. She also announced that Chinese Premier Li Keqiang will meet Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull next month.
