The EU has called Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, to take part in talks on Thursday in Brussels, with his French, British and German counterparts.
The EU called Zarif in efforts to preserve the hard-fought deal to curb Tehran's nuclear ambitions. The meeting comes after Iran warned the world on Monday, to prepare for the withdrawal of the United States. It comes against a backdrop of high political tension in Iran following recent protests, which claimed the lives of 21 people.
Iran signed the accord agreeing to curb its nuclear programme, in exchange for the lifting of several international sanctions. But President Trump has condemned the deal and threatened to pull out.
