One has created virtual reality (VR) cherry blossom tours to give the old or immobile a look at the flowers. All they need is a VR headset.
A ski resort in northeast Japan has meanwhile been projecting pink light onto its slopes to attract cherry blossom-loving skiers. According to the resort’s operator, the number of visitors has increased by 20 percent just because of the light.
