Winter Olympics: Olympic flame arrives in South Korean border city

The PyeongChang Winter Olympic torch has arrived in the South Korean border city of Paju. The relay stop has recieved international attention, following a series of diplomatic breakthroughs between South Korea and the DPRK, including an agreement for both sides to walk together under a "Korean Unification" flag during the Olympic Games opening ceremony. The city of Paju is located near the South Korean-DPRK border. Locals have a deep connection with the painful history of the Korean War. For decades, Paju suffered under conflict and tensions on the Korean Peninsula. But with the arrival of the Olympic torch, it has now become a symbol of unification and peace.
