A short circuit has been found to have caused the fire in Russia that killed 10 people.
A major blaze ravaged a shoe factory near the Siberian city of Novo-sibirsk at around 9 a.m. local time on Thursday. Seven Chinese people, two Kyrgyz, and one Russian were the victims. That's according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations. China's consulate in Ekaterin-burg has pitched in to help rescue efforts, by sending two staff members to the scene. China's Embassy to Russia sent condolences to the families of the victims, and contacted the Russian Foreign Ministry for an immediate investigation into the accident.
