Trade between China and New Zealand has grown steadily since establishing diplomatic relations in 1972, and hopes are high that Chinese Premier Li Keqiang can build on this over the next few days as he visits New Zealand with a large business delegation. China is already New Zealand’s largest trading partner, export market, and source of imports.
