In the KHL, Wojtek Wolski was facing his old Kunlun team. The Canadian, who will be going to the Olympics for the defending champs, was traded to Metallurg Magnitogorsk during the season, and would be the difference maker, as the Russian side looks to solidify a playoff-spot against a Red Star team that is out of the playoff picture. Wolski sets up Matt Ellison for a powerplay goal early in the second to make it 1-buzz for the hosts. No chance for the Red Star keeper. 

Kunlun respond with a piece of magic from Gilbert Brule -- going between the legs. Slick play for the member of Canada's 2018 Olympic team to make it 1-1. In the third, Wolski converts his own rebound to make it 2-1 for Metallurg. The hosts scoring three times in the stanza, Wolski picking up a goal and two assists in the 4-1 win against his old team.
