New & Improved: China develops world's first liver cancer detection kit
[]
In today's episode of New and Improved, we take a look at how Chinese researchers in Shanghai developed the world's first liver cancer detection kits.
It took researchers nine years to research and develop the reagent. The reagent only needs zero-point-two milliliters of blood to detect liver cancer in its early stage. It can check and assess seven liver cancer diagnostic molecular markers, and the accuracy of the test can reach over 80 percent. The liver cancer detection reagent kit will be used in 20 provinces from this year through hospital-enterprise cooperation.
