Organizers of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games have unveiled the event's official emblem.

Last year its organizing committee launched a worldwide campaign to find a suitable logo. With just over four years to go, preparations in and around the Chinese capital are in full swing, with a host of new venues currently under construction -- the National Speed Skating Hall, the "Ice Ribbon", arguably the pick of the bunch. The Games will be held over a 16-day period in February, 2022, with events in Beijing, suburban Yanqing County and nearby Zhangjiakou City in Hebei Province.
