Trump's Syria attack wins bipartisan support

US President Donald Trump’s decision to fire missiles into Syria has won bipartisan support.
But lawmakers from both major American parties want to see a clear strategy on Syria, especially if the US has plans for a larger military campaign. 
Republican and Democratic members of Congress voiced support for the missile strike on the Syrian air base. Senators from both parties were briefed on why the assault was done and the legal backing for it. 
But lawmakers said Congress would have to be involved in some way if the White House had any plans on following up on the missile strikes. 
Defense analysts in Washington said the latest operation would limit chemical weapons use in Syria.
