At least three people have been killed and 20 wounded in an explosion outside an office of Save the Children in Afghanistan.
Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack in the eastern city of Jalalabad. Four gunmen set off a car bomb and then stormed the charity's compound with a rocket-propelled grenade. The attack targeted British, Swedish, and Afghani government institutions. Security forces ended the assault after three hours of fighting their way into the building.
