The United Nations is looking for creative ways to raise funds for its official agency for Palestinian refugees.
This comes after the United States announced it would freeze tens of millions of dollars in contributions. According to the agency, the US will donate 60 million dollars to its programme, which would keep schools and hospitals open for the time being, but it's dramatically less than its 2017 offering of 350 million dollars. The UN agency was created in 1949 to provide direct relief and works programs to Palestinian refugees.
