The United States is in the middle of its first winter storm of 2018. At least 11 deaths have been linked to the severe cold that's lingered since Tuesday morning.
The winter "bomb cyclone" brought continuous strong winds, sleet and snow to the south-eastern coast. Florida saw its first snow in 30 years. The cold caused multiple road accidents and flight cancellations. The National Weather Service said the Arctic air mass will continue to cover two-thirds of the east coast till this weekend. The weather service warned of blackouts and icy roads.
