Delegates from nearly 200 countries have met in Bonn for the second day of UN climate talks, on strengthening the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement.

 

During the two-week conference, attendees will work on a detailed rule book for the agreement, and will look to step up action before 2020. Also at the venue, British artist Silas Birtwistle unveiled his Biomimic Tree, to draw attention to the impact that climate change is having on rural communities in developing countries. The installation uses recycled plastic to depict a tree which only fully comes alive when water runs through it. The climate conference will wrap-up on November 17th.
