Investigation into Saturday's London Bridge attack has led to fresh arrests in Ilford, east London.

Two men, aged 27 and 29, were held on suspicion of preparing acts of terrorism while the third, aged 33, was detained over suspected drugs offences.

Security camera footage circulating on social media appears to show the moment police shot dead assailants involved in the attack that killed 8 people.

A white van mowed down pedestrians on the London Bridge last Saturday before making its way to the nearby Borough Market, where attackers wearing fake bomb vests went on a stabbing rampage before being fatally shot by the police.

Police have said eight officers who rushed to scene fired about 50 rounds, killing the three attackers.
