Rising temperatures have caused the Hukou section of the Yellow River that runs through north China's Shanxi Province to thaw out as of Thursday, bringing back the spectacular scenery to its former glory. Aerial footage shows that this section of the Yellow River sandwiched inside the Shanxi-Shaanxi Grand Canyon has completely melted. The thawing of the ice has increased the depth within the waterfall to more than 20 meters.
