The exhibition "A History of the World in 100 Objects", the most anticipated cultural event of this year, opened on Wednesday at Beijing's National Museum of China.
The show is organized in partnership with London's British Museum. Based on the popular historical book of the same name, the exhibition highlights the objects that were carefully selected from over eight million items in the British Museum's collection.
