Protests in Venezuela have been ongoing for two months and have thrown the country into crisis. The unrest stems from extreme inflation, shortages of basic goods and the widespread perception that President Nicolas Maduro is becoming increasingly authoritarian.
It's not only major cities that have been affected by the crisis. Smaller towns also are being hit hard, as CGTN's Stephen Gibbs reports.

But one thing Venezuelans agree on is that theirs is a country that has yet to realize its full potential.
