South Korea-US Trade Dispute: Seoul launches WTO challenge against US tariffs

South Korea has launched a trade dispute at the World Trade Organization to challenge US safeguard tariffs on washing machines. In a filing published by the WTO, South Korea says it considers these measures to be inconsistent with Washington's obligations under provisions of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade 1994 and the Agreement on Safeguards.
