Dubai is to welcome its new landmark building - Dubai Frame - on the very first day of 2018. The building is 150 meters tall and 93 meters wide. It cost 250 million dirham, or about 68 million US dollars. Visitors will be able to get a full view of the city from the top. The inspiration behind the architecture is to combine the city's old and new towns in one frame. The building has a museum on its ground floor. The city's changed over time, and its plans for the next 50 years are shown through 3D images, sound effects and VR technology.
