Now looking at the iPhone in China. A Chinese consumer group wants Apple to answer questions about reportedly slowing iPhones before Friday.
The query from the Shanghai Consumer Council on Monday came in response to consumer feedback that old iPhones became sluggish after their software was upgraded. The California-based company acknowledged in December that its iPhone software can slow some older iPhone batteries and apologized for the issue. It also cut battery replacement costs and said it would change its software to show users how their phone batteries were working.
