Turning to South Korea. Chinese team officials, as well as the countrys' bobsled and curling teams, have arrived in PyeongChang on Monday, ahead of the Winter Games.
This is the first time China will be competing in the bobsledding event. The country's delegation includes 82 athletes, who will compete in 55 events in 12 disciplines. They will hold a flag-raising ceremony at the Olympic Village in Kangneung on Wednesday. Final preparations for Friday's opening ceremony are ongoing after a key rehearsal over the weekend. The curtain raiser includes a performance that puts the spotlight on five children playing out a nature adventure story.
