Chongqing Earthquake: CENC: Magnitude 5.0 earthquake rattles Chongqing

A 5.0 magnitude earthquake has rattled Wulong County in southwest China's Chongqing municipality. According to the China Earthquake Networks Center, the quake's epicenter was around 10 kilometers underground. Strong tremors were felt across Chongqing city, especially in the districts of Wulong and Pengshui.
Local authorities have launched a level 2 response effort, and sent experts and rescue crew to the quake zone. People living in affected regions have been transferred to open areas such as plazas and playgrounds. There have been no reports of any casualties so far.
