China Politics: Xi Jinping unanimously elected deputy to 13th NPC

Chinese President Xi Jinping has been elected deputy to the 13th National People's Congress. The vote was unanimous at the first session of the 13th Regional People's Congress of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Xi was nominated by the CPC Central Committee. He's one of 58 deputies elected by Inner Mongolia. The 13th NPC will begin its first session in Beijing on March 5th.
