Peacekeepers of the fourth batch were awarded with United Nations peace medals for their contributions and sacrifices. The UN has kept 16 operation missions worldwide with over 120,000 peacekeepers. Among all the peacekeeping areas, Mali has become the most frequent target of terrorist attacks.
