Jordan has cut diplomatic ties with the DPRK. A royal decree was issued approving a decision by the cabinet to sever all diplomatic relations with the DPRK. Jordan will withdraw its recognition of the DPRK's ambassador to the country. A Jordanian government source acknowledged that relations between Pyongyang and Amman were "never very strong" but said ties were cut "in line with the policies of Jordan's allies".
