Turkey's President says his country's incursion into a Kurdish-held enclave in northern Syria is progressing well. Recep Tayyip Erdogan also renewed a threat to extend the offensive east to the city of Manbij, which is under the control of US-backed Syrian Kurds. He said Turkish troops and their allies have killed at least 268 fighters since their operation began over the weekend to oust the Kurdish militia from Afrin.
