The China Earthquake Networks Center says last night's magnitude-6.5 quake struck at a depth of 11 kilometers. Local officials say at least four people are dead and more than 200 others injured. About 50 remain missing, according to local media China Times News.
Around 400 soldiers and 3 transport planes are now involved in rescue work. Four buildings have collapsed and roads are now cracked and damaged. Over 35-thousand households are out of tap water and more than 200 households have no access to electricity.
