Tianzhou-1, China’s first space cargo ship, will blast off between April 20-24, to dock with space lab Tiangong-2 to refuel propellant in orbit, deliver supplies and carry out other space experiments.
And the mission is an essential step in China’s plan to establish a permanent space station around the year of 2022.
On February 14, Tianzhou-1 arrived at the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in south China‘s Hainan Province. Since then, engineers and scientist have been assembling parts and conducting tests.
And on April 17, Tainzhou-1 finished its vertical transport to the final launch pad waiting for its final launch.
The exclusive video of CGTN will unveil the whole process of Tianzhou-1’s preparation from arriving at the seaport to moving into the launch pad.
