Ousted South Korean President Park Geun-hye left the prosecutor’s office in Seoul on Wednesday morning after over 21 hours of interrogation by the prosecution over her involvement in the influence peddling scandal that led to her removal from office and landed her longtime confidante Choi Soon-sil in jail.
Park is suspected of abuse of power, coercion to bribery and allowing Choi undue influence over state affairs for financial gains.
The questioning ended at around at 11:40 p.m. local time on Tuesday, but Park headed back home at around 06:54 a.m. local time on Wednesday morning after reviewing statements made to the investigators.

"It took time to thoroughly review the report," Yonhap quoted her lawyer Yoo Yeong-ha as saying.
Park arrived at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office at around 9:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday for interrogation, after resisting calls to question her as president.
Her dismissal from office earlier this month stripped Park of immunity from prosecution.
According to Yonhap news agency, Park denied all charges during the questioning. The beleaguered ex-president refused to make any comment while leaving.
