The Houston Rockets have reportedly reached an agreement with their 2016 second round draft pick, Zhou Qi. Sources have said the team plans to use a portion of their mid-level exception to allow the center time to develop in their run and gun system.

Houston's deal with the 7-foot-2 Zhou will be a multi-year deal, an insider with knowledge of the negotiations told ESPN. 

The final structure of the agreement is still under discussion, but the Chinese center will join the Rockets for the 2017-18 season. 

Zhou has been training with the team's staff at the Toyota Center in Texas for the past several months. He headed to "H-Town" shortly after helping the Xinjiang Flying Tigers win the CBA Championship.

Another Chinese player who could be moving to the US is the CBA's Domestic MVP, Ding Yanyuhang. The longtime Shandong Golden Star made his NBA Summer League debut with the Dallas Mavericks, and scored eight points in their 80-75 victory over the New York Knicks.
