Determined to be a fashion icon for all, especially young people with a disability, 26-year-old Jack Eyers has appeared in a number of fashion campaigns previously, including Milan and Russia Fashion Weeks, as well as appearing on the cover of Men’s Health UK. /CFP Photo
Eyers made the decision to have his right leg amputated at the age of 16, which had been left withered by a condition called Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency. /CFP Photo
Fed up with constant trips to hospital, Eyers opted for the amputation in the hope of finally being able to lead a normal life. /CFP Photo
Once he got rid of the leg that had caused him so much pain, Eyers became a fitness fanatic, and started to look into a career in modelling. /CFP Photo
“I want to show that having a disability won't hold you back,” he once told Daily Mail. /CFP Photo
Now looking back at that period of his life, Eyers said he had made “the best decision ever." /CFP Photo
