US President Donald Trump called the chemical attack in Syria an "affront to humanity" that "crosses many, many lines.”
Trump made this remark at a White House news conference with Jordan's King Abdullah II on Wednesday. He said his view toward Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Syria has "changed very much.”
On Wednesday, US Ambassador to the United Nations (UN) Nikki Haley warned that the Trump administration would take action against chemical attacks in Syria if the UN Security Council remained paralyzed.
