A performing troupe gave a stirring rendition of "Gaoshan" opera in Guanyinba Village in Longnan, northwest China's Gansu Province on Monday.

As a regional form of folk art, Gaoshan opera has a history of about 700 years, and was placed on the list of national intangible cultural heritage back in 2008.
