Two people died and two other went missing after their boat sank off the southern coast of Fujian Province, in southeast China, on Sunday morning, the Ministry of Transport's Donghai No. 2 Flying Rescue Service has announced.

All four sailors fell in the sea after their vessel crashed into rocks near the cape of Longhai Town, administered by Zhangzhou City of Fujian Province.

A search and rescue operation is underway to find the two sailors who are still unaccounted for.

Another boat, with 11 people on board, capsized on Sunday morning in the waters off the northeast coast of Zhejiang Province, in east China, leaving six fishermen missing. The other five have been rescued.
