Afghanistan Blast: Suicide bomber kills at least 95 people, wounds 158 in Kabul
[]
We start in Afghanistan, where the Taliban has claimed responsibility for a suicide car bomb attack in the center of Kabul, which killed nearly one hundred people.
Scores are injured and officials believe the death toll could rise further. The attacker used an ambulance to pass through a security checkpoint, telling police he was taking a patient to a nearby hospital. He detonated his explosives at subsequent checkpoint. The bombing comes just a week after the militants killed 22 people at an international hotel in the capital.
