In Fukushima, Japan, an ancient cherry tree known as Miharu Taki Zakura, which means waterfall cherry in Japanese, is attracting admirers of its blossoms on the draped branches, resembling a waterfall. (CFP)

The tree stands 13.5 meters tall and its branches spread over 25 meters. It is believed to be more than 1,000 years old. (CFP)
