The UN Security Council condemned on Thursday the DPRK's latest ballistic missile test, slamming Pyongyang's "highly destabilizing behavior."
In a unanimous statement, member states said Wednesday's test, which saw the DPRK fire a missile into the Sea of Japan was a "flagrant and provocative" defiance of the Security Council. They said they would take "further significant measures" but did not elaborate.
The test came as Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump prepared to meet for the first time in Florida.
The UN Security Council has passed several sets of sanctions to get the DPRK to rein in its nuclear and missile efforts.
