Pakistani authorities say DNA tests show that a single culprit was responsible for the rape and murder of six children in the town of Kasur.
The latest victim was 7-year-old girl found on Tuesday in a garbage dump in the town of Kasur. She had been missing for four days. Twelve children have been abducted, raped and murdered in Kasur last year. Angry residents have accused the authorities of failing to investigate. Protests have broken out across Pakistan, ransacking police offices and buildings. Two protesters were shot dead by police on Wednesday.
