Eighty sea turtles have been released into the sea off South Korea's Jeju Island. The turtles were rescued in December after being found injured in waters surrounding the island. After treatment at a turtle rescue center, the eighty turtles are back in home waters. South Korean broadcaster KBS reports that turtles inhabit the sea around Jeju but their numbers continue to decrease dramatically amid environmental pollution and coastal development.
