Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has made comments on the easing of Korean Peninsula tensions as he wrapped up his trip to Africa. He said that the easing of tensions should be treasured. He said that both the DPRK and South Korea have made positive efforts.
He also said that history shows, whenever the easing of tensions occurs, there's interference or even pushing backwards on purpose. He added that now is the time to test the sincerity of all sides. The international community should look and see who is pushing for a peaceful solution and denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, and who will be pushing the situation back towards tensions.
