The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) has slammed the recent visit to Asia of US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. Pyongyang threatened to "bring forward the collapse of imperialism" if the country is hit with sanctions.
The statement comes from the country's Foreign Ministry and was read out on state-run TV. It also said that the world will "soon witness" the results of a recent jet engine test as part of its missile program.
During Rex Tillerson’s trip to South Korea and Japan last week, he said the US was considering a wider range of options in dealing with the DPRK, including the use of military force.
