20 killed as fishing boat capsizes in central Senegal

At least 20 people were killed and one is missing after a fishing boat capsized near a village in central Senegal on Monday, AFP reported citing local firefighters.
Local authorities received a report at around 7:20 p.m. local time that a boat carrying at least 60 people to gather oysters had capsized off Bettenty village, according to AFP.
No details about the cause of the incident have been provided. Rescue work is underway.
