June is the best time to visit Xinglongtai near Shenyang, in northeast China’s Liaoning Province, to check out rice field artwork. /CFP Photo

Nineteen huge pieces of art have been created on the rice fields themselves, covering 0.34 square kilometers. Created using 3D technology, most of them are inspired by ancient Chinese legends, but also depict newer patterns and images. /CFP Photo

The local tourist office hopes these works can help attract more tourists to the region. /CFP Photo
