Panda Shulan moved to new zoo after accusations of poor treatment

Welcome home, Shulan.
A 23-year-old panda has been transferred from Lanzhou Zoo in northwest China, to her new home at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.
Authorities made the decision after finding the zoo provided sub-standard food and living conditions.
Social media users have accused the zoo's authority of abuse, for not providing the panda with the support it needed. All the best for Shulan, and we hope it feels more at home in Sichuan.
