Spring Festival Travel Rush: Railway systems in China see busy traffic during holiday

Today marks the minor Lunar New Year and railway networks across China are seeing a pre-holiday travel rush. Railway stations saw nearly 9 million passengers on Wednesday across the country, with over 800 extra passenger trains arranged. Meanwhile hundreds of thousands of migrant workers in Southern China are returning to their hometowns by motorbike for Spring Festival.
