US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, along with their Chinese hosts President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan have visited Beijing's famous Forbidden City. The two leaders had tea and visited ancient palaces, which include the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the Hall of Central Harmony and the Hall of Preserving Harmony. President Xi explained the history, culture and construction of the Forbidden City to his US counterpart. Trump also showed the Chinese president videos of his granddaughter singing Chinese songs and reciting ancient Chinese poetry.
