China will help Africa's development without imposing any political condition, President Xi Jinping said on Saturday during the G20 summit in Hamburg.
Xi said the development of Africa would help promote a balanced world economy and foster inclusive growth.
He stressed that China is a long-time partner of Africa and will respect African people's choice of their development.
During Saturday's summit, Xi also proposed that the G20 members need to build a digital economy that is friendly to growth and employment.
G20 leaders also exchanged views on immigration, health, employment and women's rights.
The two-day summit closed on Saturday, with German Chancellor Angela Merkel delivering a closing speech. A final communique is expected to be released later in the day.
